Applicability of Terms
These terms and conditions apply to all business transactions conducted by Kent Registration Plates, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Company’.Definition of Purchaser
Any individual purchasing customized goods from the ‘Company’ is hereinafter referred to as the ‘Purchaser’.Responsibility of Purchaser
- Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
- It is solely the Purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary details are accurately entered on the Company’s online forms or provided to a representative at the time of purchase.
- If an order is placed verbally via telephone, the Company’s representative will use standard phonetics to confirm the Purchaser’s requests.
Commencement of Service
- As per the Distance Selling Regulations, the Company’s service begins as soon as an order is received, whether online, by phone, or by mail.
- There is no ‘cooling-off period’, and transactions are non-reversible with no refunds.
- The Company will only provide refunds in cases where the failure is through no fault of the Purchaser.
Liability of the Company
The Company’s liability is limited to a full refund only. No claims for damages, interest, or other expenses will be entertained.Dispatch and Delivery
- While the Company strives for prompt dispatch, no specific time frame for delivery is guaranteed.
- The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the postal system, third-party carriers, or electronic mail.
DVLA Compliance
- In the UK, number plate manufacturers must register with the DVLA and comply with their regulations.
- Purchasers must provide proof of identity and association with the registration number before receiving the plates.
- Failure to provide this information is considered a breach of contract, and the Company will not dispatch the plates or issue refunds.
Legal Display of Registration Numbers
- Registration numbers must be displayed correctly, and any mis-spacing is an offense under the Road Vehicles (Registration and Licensing) Regulations 1971.
- The Company will always produce number plates with correct legal spacing, regardless of how digits are spaced in the order.
Verbal Conditions
No verbal conditions or guarantees shall modify these terms and conditions unless written and signed by a Director of the Company.Invalid Terms
If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.Offensive Material
The Company aims to ensure the website content does not cause offense. If any material is found to be offensive, the Company welcomes notification and will consider removal.Governing Law
This agreement is governed by English law, and both parties submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.
